NomadLedger is a personal tracking tool designed to help digital nomads organize information related to tax residency, travel history, documents, financial accounts, and businesses.

2. No Professional Advice

NomadLedger is NOT a legal, tax, financial, or immigration advisor. The information displayed in the Service is for informational and personal organizational purposes only. It does not constitute professional advice of any kind.

You should always consult with qualified professionals (tax advisors, lawyers, accountants) regarding your specific situation. NomadLedger does not verify the accuracy of any tax rules, day counts, or residency thresholds displayed.

3. Limitation of Liability

The Service is provided “AS IS” and “AS AVAILABLE”, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, NomadLedger shall not be held liable for:

  • Inaccurate, incomplete, or outdated data entered by the user or displayed by the Service
  • Missed tax deadlines, filing errors, or penalties resulting from reliance on the Service
  • Any financial, legal, or personal damages arising from the use or inability to use the Service
  • Loss of data, unauthorized access, or security breaches despite our best efforts
  • Service interruptions, downtime, or discontinuation

4. User Responsibility

You are solely responsible for:

  • The accuracy of all information you enter into the Service
  • Your compliance with all applicable tax laws, immigration rules, and regulations in every jurisdiction
  • Verifying any data or calculations provided by the Service with qualified professionals
  • Maintaining the security of your account credentials

5. Data & Privacy

Your data is hosted on independent servers located in Switzerland and Germany. We implement industry-standard encryption (AES-256 at rest, TLS 1.3 in transit) to protect your information.

In accordance with GDPR and Swiss data protection law, you have the right to:

  • Access all personal data we store about you
  • Request correction of inaccurate data
  • Request complete deletion of your account and all associated data
  • Export your data in a portable format

We do not sell, share, or transfer your data to third parties. We do not use tracking cookies or analytics beyond what is strictly necessary for the Service to function.

6. Service Modifications

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the Service (or any part thereof) at any time, with or without notice. We shall not be liable to you or any third party for any modification, suspension, or discontinuation of the Service.

7. Beta Program

The Service is currently in beta. Features may be incomplete, contain errors, or change without notice. By using the beta version, you acknowledge and accept the additional risks inherent in pre-release software.

8. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Switzerland, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising from these Terms or the use of the Service shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Switzerland.
